Why not enjoy your favorite wine while admiring this wine glass: a fusion of the Japanese traditional aesthetics and solid German craftsmanship? Kaburaki of Japan and Spiegelau of Germany have collaborated to create these Kaburaki original wine glasses.
Combining European wine arts and culture with the multicolored, over-glaze painting of Kutani-ware techniques, to create a series of gorgeous wine glasses.
It is a combination of a bowl by Spiegelau, the world famous German crystal glass factory, and a stem of Kutani porcelain, which has been an historical and artisanal craft in Kanazawa, Japan for over 370 years.
Spiegelau’s rational, streamlined, full-of grace form has been chosen for the bowl. The stems emphasize the character of Kutani porcelain, traditionally famous for its colorful painting - gorgeous gold, traditional Yoshidaya colors, blue dots, red paint and more.
There are various choices from authentic designs to contemporary tastes. All stems are genuine and are hand-painted by Kutani artists. The collection of 3 types of bowl for wine and 2 for champagne, as well as stems in a variety of artisanal paintings will give you ideal matching for various types of wine and ambience.

Brings about aroma in abundanceSake Glass
This sake glass is made to induce the rich bouquet of daiginjo sake, and unleaded crystal is used to increase the aroma. Pour just below the widest level of the bowl to enjoy the rich bouquet.
We recommend this sake glass for junmai and honjozo sake as well as champagne, beer and white wine, to appreciate a clean and refreshing sensation. This sake glass enhances the richness of flavors and complexity of drinks, and is perfectly suitable for wines.
Enjoy the mellow richnessShuhai
The petal-like flared rim of this shuhai sake cup draws sake to the front of the tongue to perceive taste, and then delivers it to both sides of the tongue allowing you to enjoy sourness without the sense of heaviness.
This shuhai suits all types of sake. You should try warmed sake as well. Savor the mellowness of junmai and yamahai/kimoto sake.
Highlights each sake's individual characteristicsTakahai
We added a stem to the bowl of the shuhai to form this takahai cup, which can be regarded as a versatile sakazuki cup. The bowl part is exactly the same as the shuhai. The addition of the stem makes it easy to hold and enhances the beauty of the painted design.
