Yakumonuri lacquerware, a traditional craft product designated by the governor of Shimane Prefecture
On Yakumonuri lacquerware, patterns are depicted with various colored lacquer, mother-of-pearl, and gold or silver powder on lacquered base material. Fine natural transparent lacquer is overlaid on it and then finished with a traditional polishing technique. As years go by, the transparent lacquer becomes clearer making the patterns more magnificent.
Gold leaf is pasted on the wooden handle to depict a thousand cranes. The tips have a textured coat so that they don't slip.

●Should it become dusty, wipe off with a glass cleaning cloth etc.
●Do not keep immersed in water. Keep upside-down on top of a dry cloth.
●As each item is hand-made one-by-one, color and texture may differ slightly from the photos.
●Should there be no stock, item will be manufactured after order placement. It will take around 1 to 1 and a half months for it to be delivered.
●Depending on the item, delivery may be delayed.
