It generally refers to a rather vivid reddish orange.
Astringent persimmons are harvested while they're still green. They are then crushed to obtain their juice which is used to dye something in the "persimmon" color.
After eating, put the smaller tier into the bigger one to easily reduce the size. Becomes much smaller when bringing it back home.
