A famous Kyoto Yuzen artisan has made this beautiful small case out of leather, using original dye and the technique of stencil dyeing. The material doesn't fade easily and, since it's coating-free, you can enjoy not only the great texture but also the change in color as time goes by. The inner side has white tanned leather bonded on and the form of this item is cute and puffy. It can also be used for storing coins, jewelry and medicine. The wave pattern traditionally represents peace and prosperity. For this item, it's arranged to create a modern look.
