Monk doll begging for alms. Takuhatsu is a Buddhist practice where monks travel around with a bowl to beg for rice or money. They stand in front of the house when begging. Made by the doll maker "Tsuchida Hakurei" in Kyoto. Painstakingly created one by one. Gentle color usage and pleasant design.
