A 100% tin katakuchi bowl that makes sake taste milder.
Produced using 100% tin based on skills developed from the processing techniques of "casting", a traditional industry of Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture.
Tin has a high ion efficiency and makes drinks taste milder by purifying water. It has been traditionally said "water won't go bad if it's in a tin bowl" or "tin can get rid of an unpleasant flavor" and so has been used for sake cups and teacups.
Also, as it has a high thermal conductivity, you can enjoy cold sake just by chilling it for 1-2 minutes in the fridge. Recommended using for dressings and wine as well. Approx. 300cc.

●Usage Precautions & Maintenance:
*After use, wash with a mild kitchen detergent in the same way as other tableware using a soft cloth or sponge.
*Do not scrub with hard scourers. Also, as it is soft and becomes easily damaged, do not polish with cleansers.
*When the gloss has become dull, bring it back by using commercially available metal polishers, toothpaste, baking soda etc.
*As it has a low melting point, do not put over an open flame.
*Do not put in the microwave.
*Do not put in the freezer as this will cause tin pest.
*Do not put in the dishwasher or dish-dryer.
