Replace it every 2-3 months. ・When you decide to replace a hanging scroll, select a dry day with good weather. ●In order to keep your hanging scroll in a beautiful state for a long time: ・If you leave a hanging scroll hung up for a long time, the scroll will lose its original smoothness and will become hardened while extended. ・Tightly rolling up a hardened hanging scroll when putting it away may lead to the creation of fold lines on the paper. Also, after several years have elapsed, these folds will become tears and damage the splendor of the piece. ・If a hanging scroll is kept stored away for a long time, moisture inside the scroll will cause it to become stained and moth-eaten. ・Brown mark staining often found on old hanging scrolls is caused by the oxidation of moisture containing iron. Also, pests that cause something to be moth-eaten like moisture and will damage your precious item. ・ When rolling up or extending a hanging scroll, do so carefully so as to not create folds on the picture portion. ・Tie the drawstring when storing away. ・Should a decorative stand be necessary, please purchase separately. ●Other: Should there be no stock, item manufacture will take place upon order placement.
