Ogura Hyakunin Isshu Hall, Shigureden - Reopening
From March 17 (Sat.) to June 24 (Sun.) *Reopening Exhibition
Ogura Hyakunin Isshu in a renewed atmospheric space.
At this museum you can see, experience and learn. Displayed here are valuable documents of the Ogura Hyakunin Isshu Japanese poems compiled during the Heian and Kamakura periods as well as a diorama display that includes recreations of 100 great poets and reproduces scenes of Tanka composers.
On the spacious second floor there is also a corner where you can try on Heian costumes free of charge. The “Tenryu-ji Relic Exhibition, Muso Kokushi & Saga-Arashiyama” exhibition is also being held here.
