A stage floating in the darkness of night - enjoy the wonderful world of Noh.
Takigi Noh is a Kyoto summer tradition. Noh and Kyogen, both traditional Japanese performing arts, and there will be a special performance of them within the grounds of Heian Shrine.
The theme of the performance is the depiction of “Genpei Jōsui”, the rise and fall of Heike and Genji. Performed in a fantastic atmosphere with crackling bonfire, here you will be able to immerse yourself in world of “yugen”.
