Hokusai Exhibition The 250th Anniversary of Katsushika Hokusai

To celebrate the 250th anniversary of Hokusai's birth his masterpieces our brought together under one roof.
Edo Period ukiyo-e painter Katsushika Hokusai, with his highly realistic and innovative composition, influenced overseas artists such as Van Gogh. This exhibition is divided into two periods and includes a number of his widely known paintings, such as the masterpiece the ”Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji”.
Also, during this exhibition, the 170 works of art on show include the first domestic showing of 2 original paintings. You will be able to look back at the works of Hokusai, who continued to paint until just before his death. Don't miss this unique oppurtunity.
