In Kamanza, in Sanjo, Kyoto, the traditions and techniques of tea ceremony kettle craftsman Onishi family have been passed down since the early Edo period. Here, at this museum, you can view their unique tea ceremony kettle masterpieces. As well as exhibits of valuable tea ceremony items,
, there are also events held such as tea ceremony. The exhibition has a seasonal theme and also focuses on the design of the kettle. The air of each season is reflected in every kettle, making these profound pieces that are sure to leave an impression.
