Avenerable Japanese sweet shop established in the 3rd year of the Kyowa era. At the “Kayu-chaya” on the 2nd floor, you can take in an “observing and sampling” experience. Here, a Japanese sweet maker demonstrates and
describes the sweet making process and you can receive seasonal Namagashi sweets and tea. You can also ask questions directly to the craftsman, helping you to gain a deeper understanding of the world of Kyoto sweets.
