At this long-established tea room “Bikouen”, that has served as the favorite tea host for Hongan-ji Temple since its inception in 1872, you can enjoy a fun experience learning about Kyoto's tea ceremony culture. Learn about the history of Uji tea & tea ceremony,
and tea ceremony etiquette whilst viewing the procedure and etiquette of the Yabunouchi-ry? tea ceremony. After this take up the challenge yourself with boiling tea. Here you can take in and enjoy the authentic atmosphere of tea ceremony.
