Juni-hitoe Traditional Kimono Experience
Wear Beautiful Juni-hitoe Kimono to Experience Heian Culture
This is a popular plan that lets you change into a beautiful court lady of the Heian period. You can learn about the kimonos of the Heian period from an Emondo (traditional technique of dressing in Juni-hitoe kimonos) master and experience wearing an authentic Heian-style Juni-hitoe kimono as well as make-up and hair arrangement. Other garments are available as well, including samurai costumes and Uchikake and Furisode kimonos.
