Winner of Bronze Prize in the Traditional Japan Category at the Japan Tourism Agency's "Attractive Japanese Souvenir Contest 2013." This item has a colored leaf design to express the beautiful Japanese autumn season. The design is based on the works of the master craftsman Wazen Eiraku. The elegant design is created by covering the entire surface in red, then drawing patterns using gold. This technique is often seen in Kutani ware, called "Kinran-de."
