Always keep him near to you! Made using the motif of a Jizo which is widely loved in Japan as a bodhisattva that is incarnated in various things and rescues people - for example, receiving the disasters and the hardships of those who are vulnerable as a form of substitute.
At the time of the Great East Japan Earthquake, many homes and possessions were swept away by the tsunami, and many did not know where their home had actually previously been. In such an environment, one Jizo which had been in the living room of certain home, was left standing at what remained of the foundation of an entrance, as if marking where the lost home had previously been. This item is created based on fantastic stories such as this.
